Cvent and Zoom partner to deliver best-in-class hybrid events

Cvent, leading meetings, events, and hospitality technology provider, and Zoom Video Communications, Inc. on Wednesday announced that the two organizations would partner to power hybrid events. Businesses that are already working with the Cvent platform for in-person events will shortly be able to integrate with Zoom Events to provide an engaging and impactful end-to-end hybrid experience.

This collective solution can be watched first-hand at Zoomtopia, an event powered by both Zoom Events and Cvent technologies. Organizations may leverage the same capabilities used at Zoomtopia through Cvent’s App – soon accessible in the Zoom App Marketplace – that supports Zoom Webinars, Zoom Meetings, and Zoom Events.

The technology provider identifies the value it creates as a long-term leader powering in-person events across the globe, said Steven Li, Global Leader, ISV Business Development & Strategy at Zoom.

Li added that Zoom has always been a company built to connect and bring people together, which is why they are excited to team up with the technology provider so that its customers can effortlessly tap into its top-notch platforms to deliver more dynamic and poignant hybrid events.

In today’s event environment, an organization’s Total Event Program incorporates a blend of virtual, hybrid, and in-person events to maximize attendee engagement, reach, and overall program impact said Patrick Smith, the Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Cvent.

Smith added that, without the right technology partners, organizations often battle to effectively manage and implement their more intricate hybrid experiences. As a leading communications platform, Zoom established this area of opportunity and is excited to work with Zoom to help its mutual clients deliver best-in-class hybrid experiences.

Cvent is supporting the in-person experience, of Zoom’s global hybrid conference, Zoomtopia 2022.
